Cosmic Catch & Dodge
Cosmic Catch and Dodge is an entirely touchless game that challenges the player to control an object on the screen using hand movements in a game that uses focus, hand-eye coordination, and precise mobility.

HOW IT WORKS
The game uses two distance sensors enclosed in the black console in front of the monitor to control movement on screen. When players move their hands up and down, that data is sent through serial communication from the Arduino IDE serial monitor to a game made in p5.js.
Because there are no instructions on which sensor controls which kind of movement, the start page acts as a practice round, where players have to keep the object on the screen steady in the center to begin the game. It's not meant to be easy or intuitive; if a player moves their left hand down, the object on the screen goes up. If they move their right hand up, the object goes left.
It can be played as a single-player game, with one person using both hands, or as a two-player game, with each person controlling one aspect of movement. It was designed to be difficult on the first play, but not so difficult that it is discouraging.
