Week 2: Cable Control
This is a bracelet that is tightened by pulling the two ends of the bracelet through a bead.

My experiment

I made a little stage with curtains opened and closed by pieces of string.

I used a piece of metal I found on the junkshelf for the curtain rod. i was able to bend it easily by hand.

I found some great velvet-y fabric to use for the curtains and poked the metal rod through it. I used an embroidery needle to weave a piece of string through the holes and secured it on one end. I glued the outermost edge of the curtain to the side of the diorama. I added another piece of string in the middle so I could close the curtains after they were opened, and then extended to the opposite side to which it was secured so I could close the curtains from the sides.

This is the small mess I made.
