WITH FILTER
This is a photo of my grandma that my grandpa took sometime between 1965 and 1961. It’s one of my favorite photos of her, and I have always been amazed at the quality of color the film was able to capture at the time. Specifically - the yellows and reds of the flowers are so vibrant. It looks like it could have been taken this year.
To create the sepia filter, I multiplied the r, g , and b values by rgb values I found on this page.
The sepia completely removes the vibrance of the flower colors, and immidietaly the image feels like something you’d find in an old scrapbook that has faded with time. In three words, I would call it deflated, vintage, and nostalgic.
