WEEK 11 - SOUND SYNTHESIS

LINK TO SKETCH

This sketch uses 4 tones, controlled by 4 sliders. I played around with the different types (sawtooth and triangle) but landed on sine because it sounded the best layered on top of another.

The first thing I did with each tone is lower the volume to 0.01 (why is the default volume in p5 so loud?!)

It was pretty simple to replicate the face shapes 4 times. I set the mouth shape to map the value of frequency, set by the sliders, so they did not get too big.

Then I played around with the noise function to create the face shape movement.
