WEEK 5: STOP MOTION

TIC TAC TOE
HERDING OF THE OFFICE CHAIRS
For both videos we used the app Stop Motion Studio.
For Herding of the Office Chairs, we challenged ourselves to move beyond the 2D paper setup and use our surroundings. The idea was to make the chairs move together, on their own. It involved a lot of running around, seen here in the timelapse video we shot while we made it:

This video is made up of 58 frames in total. I was surprised to see the final product ended up being only 12 seconds long, I thought it would be much longer based on how much it felt like we were moving.
For Tic Tac Toe, we used cut-up pieces of construction paper and taped them to the table, and positioned my phone camera above on a mounted tripod. It was difficult at first to get an angle that didn’t show any shadows. This video is made up of 45 frames in total.
